Paula Terrell Music & Ministry

Welcome to PTMM's website!

We're taking the gospel into the new millenium!
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
~ 1 Peter 4:10

Biography~~

At the young age of 8, Paula began singing at the Union Baptist Church. The stepdaughter of a Baptist minister, she was encouraged to become involved in church activities such as the children and youth choirs. While in high school, she joined the Oklahoma Christian Coalition, a choir which was comprised of youth from various denominations and backgrounds from the inner city. They briefly toured the U.S and their performances were always jammin'. Soon it became apparent that singing was more than just a pastime for the young protege, it had become her passion.

In 1993 after a series of personal setbacks, she renewed her faith in the Lord and rededicated herself to using her gifts and talent in the music ministry. Paula began writing original songs in preparation for her dream of recording an album.

In 1995 she sang as backup vocalist in the gospel musical ?Talk Is Cheap? which appeared in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The following year she wrote an original musical play entitled "It Takes A Village about a single parent family struggling to survive alchoholism and pain. She has written several original songs, which she plans to use on her album project, and she has already independently released a cassette single entitled ?Got To Stop The Violence?.

Paula is a community volunteer, working with several local youth organizations, speaking and singing throughout the year. She has shared the gospel with many children and young people through this ministry. In the future, there are plans to write an autobiography of her life, and to continue speaking to youth about the decisions, consequences and struggles they face in their daily lives.

Her audiences have included young and old alike and she enjoys ministering to God?s people no matter what their age. The common ground that she has found is that all people need the love of God in their lives. She says spreading that love through her music is the greatest reward that she could ever receive.

The Mission
PTMM is first and foremost and evangelistic music ministry with a vision to see the children and youth of this city, state and nation saved, set free and delivered by the power of God. Through the ministry of song and her powerful testimony Paula touches her audiences on a level that they can relate to.

Our goal is:

To take the gospel to the youth of this city, state and nation through a unique blend of music and ministry that will impact and empower them for action!

The Method

By networking with schools, churches, youth organizations and individuals to set up evangelistic mini-conferences and spark discussions that will confront the issues that plague our youth. Upon addressing these issues, we will present Jesus Christ as the ultimate answer to the problems and give practical, life applications that can be used to reach others.

The Music

Powerfully anointed, contemporary Gospel with a clear-cut message. Delivered with clarity, feeling and impact.

NEWSFLASH!!! I am seeking financial backing to record my first album entitled "In The Key Of G.O.D. I would also like to network with others who are in the Gospel music industry. You may e-mail me if you would like a packet of information on the project. My heart is for the youth of this generation and I believe that this is the year for our young people to be set free and changed through the gospel. Please only those who are serious need to respond.

God's Word For Today...
Romans 12:2(New King James Version)
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

It's time for SPRING CLEANING. No, I'm not talking about cleaning out your homes, garages and attics. I'm talking about cleaning out your mind and renewing it with the word of God.

In order to live a victorious Christian life, we must change our old worldly way of thinking and think like Jesus. That's not an easy job when violence and evil is all around. But it is possible when we are filled with the word and changed from the inside out.

If you have neglected reading the word of God, I encourage you to read, meditate, and be filled with it. It can clean you up like nothing else can.

Be Blessed!

Paula
